Hi Mike,
Was just thinking about you, (in a clean way, the house-working lad! ), how have you been?
You have a grand couple of days away?
Im still on the shelf in the Bookshop although the cover-up will be changing soon hopefully. Two have walked since last I spoke. Me biding time, still want the discount for the moment!
I give it to end Sept, then with academic season in full swing, may slip away. Shall see....
BTW, there's a thread open on the JABBIC open if you're interested. (Don't know how to to do the link thingy but can access from my port. Near the top of my convos, if you're interested).
Have only read yours, Lyndak's and Weaver's entries so far. Must read the others. Winners to be announced Tues week. Heard anything yet?
Me - nada. But I reckon we should be planning what to wear!! (that is, when we hear we're out of the picture!)

Rehi,
No, I haven’t heard anything from JABBIC … YET.
Obviously our awards are in the post.
Spent last weekend birthday partying - dieting this week.
For some reason I can’t think of a thing worth writing for the Radio Kent comp. The Muse seems to have slipped off for a month in the sun. Bet she’s clubbing in Ibiza when she ought to be here helping me.
I'm watching Sex… and the city at the mo.
Wow, what a nice pair, of Manolo’s – what you think I meant?!!!

Happy Belated Birthday, dahling! If ONLY I'd known I would have got you a REAL pressie!
This will have to suffice though:
and
!!
Sex in the City? Not tonight love, I'm washing my hair.... Grat show though, surprised you like it, most men I know detest it!
Ny trip to the US has been called off, hoping to ge to London next Wed/Thurs for a long w'end. Hardly New York but at least it's somewhere and same currency!
My muse has gone on strike AGAIN> Looking for a bleeding pay-rise. Damn...
Anyway, this time 2 weeks we'll be in the 'Just Published' section with our winnings!! NOT!

Wow!
What wonderful pressies, loved the bus, football and rocket, but what am I meant to do with the handcuffs?
Most men just say they hate S&C; in truth they secretly watch when women aren’t around.
And we like throws and potpourri too.

The Bus - to take you to someplace you've never been...
The fFootball - to kick about when it all gets too much...
The Hancuffs - Whatever use you wish them for...
As for Men's view on 'Sex & the city', yes, I DO believe you are right. I have caught a few flicking channels and letting on that they thought it was nearly over!
Well, I like playing pool, drinking beer and baseball caps.
What do you like 'throwing'?

All the best,
Good to see you back.

Have just read your pottery! Wonderful, dahling!! Getting so much betta, dear!!
As for the two muses eloping? Quite possible, but you'd think they'd at least send a bleeding postcard or give us a ring, eh?!
'Tis pissing me off this inability to write somethink, yet I seem alright in having chat! Maybe that's the problem!
AND, Sir - Me not mad EVERY w'end! Had a tame enough one this time, cos we, (my sis & I), got caught up in my Dad's local Saturday eve, (with the Dad), and then was too drunk/tired/spent to continue later that night! Met a few of the girls, but I would only have had them prop me up on bar-stools and fetch me water to cool me down alnight, so took a raincheck instead! (And it WAS raining!).
So, I was tucked up in bed and snoring by 1am, (very early for me! Honest!).
Was too wet to go shore-walking, shell-collecting today so we went to visit a place that has been built to depict what Ireland was like in famine times, with an overview of the traditions, customs etc of the time. (Threw a coin and made a wish by the 'leprehaun's cave', and no, don't believe it will come true. Did it more fr the Godson's sake, (he's 6yrs), than mine, (I lie!). Place was really interesting yet quite depressing, the weather only added to the whole ambience. Made you really reflect on modern luxuries and politics. Chilling but honest historical fact. That took about 4 hours and we just had to go thirst a pint after to let it all sink in.
Anyway, how have you been? Good w'end I hope? Think, 9 more days to our big shopping spree! Lol! The cheek of it!
Well, I've gotta go as have promised to aid a friend with something on another thread. Will send you 'e' , (non-drugged), in next day or two, and/or catch up with ye here!
Now, If that boyo of yours sends a postcard or rings before mine, let me know!

Penning Jen is hen-picking, chicken-licken friggin' good. NOT writing anything though., but DO have about 4 Book Reviews to do for 11am.
Two done, (local fiction), and I now have a choice of doing one on 'The History Of Donegal Poitín', 'Hands Across The Foyle: Reflections of our Culture, Landscape & History', and a tourist guide done by local kids and a BORING book about I don't really know what.
Think I'll settle for the first two. One is interesting and the other had lots of photographs!
You still real busy @ work, or is it play?
Get the 'Gardening' story off?
AND...................8 Days to Go!!!!!!
