Oi!

Hi stranger,
And in saying that it has been a strange night tonight in the dark corridors of GW. All connected to a poem up called 'now'. Check it out if you are interested. Did get out of control on the comments though...
How are you doing, Sir?
I got the impression that I 'scared' you away the other night?!
Didn't mean to. Sorry.
Am currently checking out the 'moniker' of someone who posted a message to my port. Have NEVER heard of them, and they seem a bit suspect....

I'm fine, commented on 'Now'.
Been a bit delayed, talking about sex, which was not unpleasant, even by email. That, and writing this damned assignment poem. Think it's as good as it's going to get, so I'll leave it til tomorrow now.
Scared? Me?
How do you check? There seems a lot of suspicion around at the moment.
Roy

- Well, simple but VERY time consuming though.
Of late, I have bumped into so many dodgy charcaters and it is spoiling the delight of this place. Is beginning to piss me off too. Big time.
EG: Author of that poem you last read. I checked him out. Reckon he one of either 2-3 monikers. Discovered a major slip-up too.
The one I'm currently checking is for sure suspect. I have NEVER had any convos with them, was one of about 10 others postees, on a same thread, about 6 weeks ago only.
How to investigate is to shuffle through their convos & works and check out their friend list. This wasn't hard for me. My 'suspect' has only made 17 posts since Feb'04!
And the post to me was only one made in about 3 weeks. Weird. ALSO, they have a very bizzare works folder. 4 things posted of which 2 are blank. All type is in block-cap too and has a sniff of 'taking the mick'. Their intro seems sort of sound but I don't buy it. Doesn't altogether ring true...
Don't mind me, I'm in a cynical and devious frame of mind tonight!
BTW, and you may have already read it: My latest 'Bus STOP!' Just curious if you have read or not. No bother either way, though.

Not yet, but read Waving Goodbye (was that it? sorry, only printed out the text of it not the title)... thought it was excellent if very short - 500 words maybe? I know that's what some people want to read and it's enough to read from some writers, but when it's good I want a bit more to savour.. Just greedy, I guess, and your story was complete. A vignette rather than a story, perhaps. I'll shut up now.

I have to say I still don't get what all the fuss is about multiple posters. I mean, what can they do apart from agree with themselves or argue with themselves or pretend to be friendly? People seem very upset by the notion, but I truly don't get it. Am I missing something?

Ach shucks!
I am so wrapped replying to convos/crits that have done maybe only 2 readings tonight. REALLY should retire to sweet slumber. wil be reading what i've missed of yours in next few days, for sure.
Thank-you for stealing a look at 'Wave Goodbye'. Based on semi-fact. BTW, the reason I asked if you read 'Bus STOP!' was because it sort of linked to 'Now' poem. If you read all the other review postings you would see why.
ANYWAY, thanks for your encouraging remarks on story. Will read yours by w'end, deffo.
Hey, be greedy! Gluttony of literature is a good thing!

Sorry, Roy, PC a bit temperamental, me can be at times too!
Multiple posters can do what they like as lond as I don't run into them. I have seen some people getting unfairly slaughtered and isn't right. then again e're only a bunch of cyber-heads, not real. But FEELINGS can be hurt this way too. And the mind-f**k games too. I have had a few of them lately and it is a bit annoying. Ignore as best as can but that little devil paranoia pokes his wee head in and goes 'nah, nah'.
BUT I get your point yet not everyone is as strong as you, or as less-bothered than I. There are a lot of sensitive souls outta there that prbably need to toughen up, and a few have left because their dream of writing has been torn to pieces.
Guess if you can't take 'Constructive' criticism, then that's your proble. But meaness and cruel remarks are not on.

Now I've read Bus STOP, I can see why. It's horrible Jen, I read it once, then all the comments, then again, slowly, remembering it was real. I won't comment there, but I can only echo what everyone else has said. Shocked and amazed.
Roy.

I'm as sensitive as anyone, actually. I only post here for the praise, if I'm honest, some days. Other days I can be bullish and mix it with anyone. At least I can claim an artistic temperament now, instead of feeling pathetic on the bad days . But personal attacks are not on, I agree. And I never understand the motivation for starting that kind of thing, myself. Of course, anyone who's been driven away by it has my total sympathy. Let them post (we've all posted some dire stuff at times) and if it's not interesting, we can ignore it. If it's promising we should say, and so on and on and on and I'm waffling.
Thank-you

I just wanted you to read so it would illustrate the frustration and anger Looby & I had to contend with tonight and with males, one who openly admits he has victimised. THAT and the poem disgusted me. Think poem was deliberately planted there too. Will elaborate another time, OK?
I had to speak out and I'm glad I did - tonight and with my writing thrown in yesterday.
The fact you have read alone is enough, that means a lot. no comments atall neccesary. You're a good soul, Sir Roy!

Thank-you
