i'm sitting here trying to write a f***ing proposal for a client who i'm due to meet tomorrow...and can't get what you just said out of my head.

Yes, it is based on MY real experience, Dublin 1991. At a bus stop, people all around. Never reported it, got over it and carried on with life. But for the last month, something has been bugging me to WRITE it down somehow. Just out of the blue. I did write stuff at the time, which I still have. Very differnt from this outpour. More concerned with my feeling, what happened when I got back to student-shared flat than the actual act. Just couldn't sleep last night and HAD to get the demon on to paper and I feel so much better for having done so.
I am sorry to have shocked you and smacked you with this shite, but there you are. It was a long time ago, so I don't have any hang-ups or stuff like that. Just a little tender in the recall.
If it wasn't for this place, these words would never have formed. I'm glad that it was you who first got to read it. That in itself makes me feel better too.
