The Village On My Doorstep
A diversion for Jen though?
Where's the Sex, Booze and Rock & Roll we've come to love and admire?
---
BTW, the closest my Scottish friend could come to "An Chaisléan Nua" was "The new sleep"!?
C U later,
Thoth...
Thanks

Well HELLO there King Thoth!!
Thought you could all do with something a little softer, gentler and just a little glimpse into the place of my birth! The sex, booze and Rock 'n' Roll were there too.
(Remember the castle ruins, shore paths and match-box houses?! Their secrets are for another day. Be patient! )
"An Chaisléan Nua" is actually the Irish/gaelige translation of 'Greencastle' although 'Nua' directly means 'new' and the Irish direct word for 'green' is 'glás'. 'The new sleep' would be: 'An codladh nua'! Go impress your Scotish buddy with that!
OK - That's your little lingual lesson over for today!
Thanks for reading, Sir! Were you at THAT 'vicar's night' this evening?!
Will chat later this week...
