rather than do that I thought I'd reply here.... A shame about the Dublin concert.

They say you regret more of what you haven't done in life than what you've done. I believe it's true. Think I would have regretted not taking my 14 year old guitar player to see Mr Pete Townshend.... I am so so skint at the moment that's the only rationalisation I can offer myself for having gone.

As for age - I've just seen a 60+ man play guitar for 3 hours and prance around very energetically. I intend to misbehave (in a 'nice' way) into my dotage. embarrass the kids by singing and playing modern beat combo music, dancing etc. etc.

Part of me is 48, part of me is 17 and I am inquisitive. I hope to stay that way.

ANYWAY, I've been off the boards for nearly a week and was intending to drop by your quarters to leave a wee message of thanks for all the lovely, encouraging posts you have been making and THAT I will be dipping into your own wonderful works in next day or two.
