Hope you're doing well and that you've found the appropriate lock. Mr. Emee had to find a sturdy one for his 4-wheeler. Not the same as a motorcycle with custom painted tins but still wouldn't want to 'lose' it. Also hope you don't have to deal with nastiness that is evacuating in the face of a cat 4 hurricane.

I got back home at 3:30 yesterday morning. I thought the traffic was bad when I left but it turned out that I left just in time. It took me about 9 hours to get to Fort Worth. Friends that left just 8 hours later were on the road twice that long to get just to the other side of Houston before giving up.

My bike made it fine and I found an ok lock for it. (I still need to find the one I was looking for and use this one for my bicycle.) I even took it off the trailer to do some riding in the hills around Fort Worth. This flood plain I live on doesn't have much in the way of up and down roads.

I think I need to spend this week getting this mess cleaned up and trying to find the stuff I'd like to keep with me for the next storm. I was so frantic at the last minute for this one I left so much stuff here. I've also got to find my copies of the Dirk Gently books. I found out while I was away that they are out of print! I know I had them but have no idea where they are. If I find them I'll pack them with me the next storm.
