Passing Away
Posted Oct 11, 1999
It's been a strange year. As you get older, I guess you stop getting invited to weddings and start attending more funrals. Some people may argue that they are one in the same. I just thought I'd be a lot older when this started to take place.
A freind of mine passed this weekend. She was 29 yrs old and died of cancer. She was only diagnosed with cancer 6 weeks ago, but 2 years ago, after a minor surgery, she was told that a tumor was removed and to come back to the doctor's for a follow up in 3 months. She didn't go back untill 6 weeks ago. She had hurt her back and the doctors found cancer in her bones.
If you are ever instructed to "come back for a follow up," please go.

My Birthday
Posted Oct 4, 1999
Yes, It's true. Today, October the 4th, is my birthday. Well, 37 years ago it was my birthday. When we are young we look forward to our birthdays.
Presents, the attention, the endless paddy wacks. Now it just means that my car insurance is due, the government wants more money for my licence plate sticker, and here in Ontario, if I don't get my car's emmisions tested, I can't drive it!
Not only am I a year older, I have $145.00 less to show for it.
