I have done something which I have never done before. Put your name down on my Friends list without asking your permission.

Please forgive me. And I hope you will agree.

It was so refreshing this morning to come into my study - an hour ago so it was only just getting faintly light to and find - goodness knows how- that marvellous exposition about the Phillippine Islands. During the night there was something on Mindanao, and as I had a Phillipine carer some eight years ago,it was so interesting to read about them.

Of course, being a researcher myself, I followed leads, and in one of them found the word Kent. As I have started to live again(having been quite ill two years ago and suffering a stroke at the end of last year) overlooking the channel I read all those wonderful entries of yours. - and discovered Mar ( whom I think is Maria) so have added her as well, unasked by me again!! - to my list of Frriends.

This is an introduction to what I hope will be friendship. I am reaching the end of a long happy life and still have so much to learn and find out. so am trying to cram everything into what time I have left.

What a lovely surprise to open up this morning and find your message! I'd be delighted to count you as one of my friends and I shall add your name to my list also.

Mar is a very dear friend. We hit it off right from the start and I hold her in much affection and respect. She is my encouragement and inspiration and it's no exageration to say that she has cast new light on a whole area of my life. I think I have managed to be a help to her also.

Thank you for replying to my posting about the Sec. Gen. of NATO. I have been glued to the TV ever since the new President Abamo arrived in europe.

Must now fly to see if the meeting in Czechoslovakia is being recorded.

Particularly if one follows the various hweads of government around. !!!! and of course Space travels when one follows the astronauts. Hi Deke when is there another launch?
