Hello Lu! Never mind late, it's always good to hear from you so thanks for your reply. I'm sorry to hear that you're only firing on 3 cylinders right now. I'll try to think healing thoughts in your direction - but they'll have an awful long way to go to reach you!

I know there ARE things that just have to be done but try asking yourself if the world will stop turning if they wait a while - or even get cancelled. I guess it's easy enough for me to say as they're not MY things and I'm not the worrying kind by-and-large. My poor long-suffering wife does that for me!

Your wishes clearly worked as I'm now sitting in front of lovely coal fire, toasting my toes. It was around freezing this morning when we went out and I was glad of my nice warm scarf which, whilst not tartan, is very good for wrapping round all the relevant bits.

We're going to do something about this cold weather later in the month - by leaving it behind and going to the Algarve, Portugal for a few weeks! I do hot far better than cold and tend to feel a lot better when we travel to tropical parts. Last Christmas we spent in NZ and followed that up by going on a research trip to the Philippines in February - that's much more like it!

Anyway, I hope you're soon feeling much better. Give youself some TLC and I look forward to talking with you again soon.
