This book thing is turning into one hell of a debate! Why doesn't someone just ask for lottery funds to set up a copycat site? By God, I'd never have guessed we were a community of revolutionaries! Love that quote on the front page about there being no purpose in writing unless you can upset somebody!!! There's comedy in this for sure. CONTACT THE PRESS _ Quick!!

Hello carrieann
Well, have you ever heard such a thing!? Fancy, dedicating a book of GW submissions to the queen - The guy's crazy. And he then has the audacity to tell us "he's doing all this for us." Doing what exactly, that's what I'd love to know. But, anyway, it's all good fun....

David

I changed my view after reading Arfa's post. If, indeed this is true, he was only trying his best.

OK.. But who's to know. What would another member have to gain by lying?

LM Scott's intro on his personal space when he first joined told all about him being retired from the royal protection squad, long before there was any talk of closure, and how he used to write things and present them to the Queen Mother etc. I think he's for real, and he's the kind who really can't imagine anybody thinking differently from how he does. I don't think it can do any harm if he puts his book together, it may just do some good, and why shouldn't he be allowed to press on with his project peacefully? Do leave his blood pressure within safe limits!
