There are doubtless many theories. I have proposed one myself:

This theory, which will not be appreciate by the British or OPUS DEI, is that Michelangelo was the first to propose the theory of evolution in his Sistine Chapel frescoes, focusing appropriately on the evolution of the brain. The Creation of Adam is simply the final step.
To claim the theory, I wrote it up (WORD document) and sent it to JAMA. At least they have the record of it. However, I see nothing of benefit to my self from the proposal of this theory, only distraction and problems. The major problem always is that others don't understand or appreciate your own theories.
