Great bands. They're mostly American stuff...don't recall where you're from. CAKE is pretty obscure but crazy cool. Dag Nasty is hard, emo-style stuff, but really good. I don't know if you have heard of Dream Theater, but Liquid Tension Experiment has the same drummer. Mean wild-good stuff, there.

I'm from America (North Carolina to be specific) and i find myself realizing how narrow my scope of music is..... ive gotta start listening to some more music.

RAP!!!!!! I HATE RAP!!!!!!! other than that and the darkness. i can tolerate just about anything. country is ok... but i prefer rock, metal, grunge, a little techno, and even some of the oldies (beach boys, rolling stones, stuff like that.) but by far i prefer metal and grunge.

I agree on the rap. IT SUCKS. But the Beach Boys *shudder* are disgusting. The Beatles rock, but the Beach Boys are enough to make me want to vomit. They're one of the first 'boy bands.' Ick.

Gyahh!! sry ive been away from the computer for A LONG TIME!! but ne way. My favorite song is probably.... either, Wait and Bleed or Spit it Out by Slipknot, or ahything off of the Nevermind CD by Nirvana.
