Ive suffered now with writers block
for many many years
it didn,t come as much a shock
i blame it in the beers
now i am alone again
sad but feeling happy
maybe all the stuff i write
just may not be so crappy
a mum of one i know its hard
it takes up so much time
take some time then for youself
you,ll not commit a crime.
creative is the way to go slap it on a page
even if no good just now
you,ll smile in your old age...

reet then you... im new to this give me some inspiration, ill try do the same, and im a complete novice to all this, cant even work the pc properly, dont tell any one but im really a builder.

Glad you joined in the poeteic conversation challenge. It's really inspiring for me.
I am doing a creative writing course and was getting a bit dispondent with it but this site's given me heaps of inspiration. I'm now on this site every day and even writing stuff too!

ooh i think i may have upset the sausage man, he sent me a poetry fight challenge, hence my bizzarr rhym late last night..thing is i dont know where his challenge is now.. hope i never dreamt it.

Me thinks the sausage man is in a league of his own!
I must say though that you're quite au fait at the rhyming lark yourself!
Do you write any other stuff apart from poetry?
I've just written a story for my daughter - about her, her Ted (to whom she is joined at the hip) and making friends with fairies. I printed it off with some pictures on it and she loved it! I was so pleased.

Your story sounds lovely, and nice your daughter loved it too. im just feeling my way around a bit . i do write other poetry but am just getting back into it all(difficult few years)
my real love is comedy, i really want to write some .. i think i can do it its just having the time, so im just playing with all this to get used the pc.
i used to wrute all my things by hand and the concentration i use on the typing compromises my creativity i think. i could rhym all day but its not the way forward is it?

I haven't had the best few months myself recently but writing for me is a form of escapism.
To list a friend you have to go into their page by clicking on their name and then there should be a box on the right hand side somewhere saying 'add this person to your friends list' or something like that anyway.

Just a note to say that i just read your life writing, and im proud of ya and i dont even know ya.
ive sat and contemplated the end.
and sometimes in doing that your avtually begining..well done you, and its great you can say your happy.
my day will come... but only if i stop bloody rhyming for a bit.take care you.pete
