Hi! 
May I introduce you to some little guys who sit near the bottom of the keyboard?
. - that's a period, or full stop. It goes at the end of sentences. 
' - that's an apostrophe. It goes in contractions, like don't and won't.
I'm just telling you this because the crowd here is a little brainy and geeky and they aren't impressed by lack of punctuation. So if you want to impress on the threads... use these.
