Hey Sahara,
Wow, I haven't seen that name for a very long time... I read some of the books with Klapaucius (is that how it's spelt??) years ago. Loved them.
Thanks for reminding me. I'll have to get onto Amazon...
On another point - I went to Libya a couple of years ago - Drove into the heart of the Sahara and spent a wonderful couple of weeks seeing ALL KINDS of stuff. Good choice for a name...

Hi Diagnostic, I really can't recall the name you mentioned, it's years ago that I read Lem.I do remember having read Solaris, which I found quite eerie at the time. I'm sure you'll find lots of them on amazon
Btw, they did a brandnew film on Solaris, but Somehow I missed it
I've actually never been to any desert, but chose the name because I felt/feel like one
Off to bed now, though

Just checked out Lem on Amazon; the book I was thinking about was called 'The Cyberiad'. Top Book if you like stuff that's slightly off centre...
I saw the recent Solaris with George Clooney - enjoyed it.
I feel like a desert myself from time to time but I couldn't eat a whole one...

I'll have a go at it later, when I feel better
Couldn't eat a whole one myself, I'm no big fan of sweets
