Shw mae, cariad?
Well impressed, me. You must have Terry-napped a Rhondda allotmenteer to get that quality of translation.
Isn't travelling tiring? I flew out Thursday and it took just over an hour to get from Heathrow to Hanover. But there was a three and a half hour drive to get there and a two hour hang-around in Heathrow.
Claire picked me up at the airport and it takes about 30 minutes to get to Celle, the town where she lives. It is SO pretty. Most of it survived the war ('2-0, 2-0', 3-0 if you count 1966) and it is Hansel and Gretle pretty. They have a nice two bed-roomed house on an off base married quarters 'patch' that is set amongst the natives.
Val, Claire and Gareth disappeared off to bed at nine and as my body clock said eight I stayed up and watched the TV (Sky, so I get to see all my faves). Baaaaaaaad choice. Grace, granddaughter number two, does not like to sleep past 5am (4am British Summer Time) and, as I was sleeeping on the sofa (don't ask) I had to get up as well - everyday.
Grace's birthday was great fun - there were a dozen kids and they all behaved at the party and we all had a good time. Apparently I dozed off amidst the Apocalypse Now shenannigans that went on around me.
We brought Ella back with us and Val is realy enjoying heself. Last time we were only supposed to have her for a fortnight but we swung a month. We are hoping to give her back this time when she is twelve.
I Have sent our mutual Angel of the NortH friend a first draft of the first cHapter of a book wHicH I just writ(and that's as far as I have got to date). I would appreciate some objective critique. I know that you are wary of the oddballs we get on this board (including moi) so she could send you this draft should you want to get involved - don't worry if this is a problem.
Hwyl
Neil
