To listen to Jason just type in www.radiojackie.com and you will get the website.
I just had an email from Mike Reynolds to say that Jason is on this wednesday at 10pm until midnight so you could listen then. I used the real player link to hear him last time.

Hi Jen
Sorry I haven't written for a few days. Having trouble keeping up with everything at the moment. I'm curious about this Belgian Chocolate, is it your stalker from a while back?
Jason is on tonight around 8-10 and again tomorrow not sure of that time though.
We are in your neck of the woods from next Friday for a few days so busy sorting out stuff for that. My friend (the one who was mugged) who has family probs was in a bad way this week. She rang me and said her doctor said she was very poorly. She was just sobbing down the phone and could hardly speak. I was imagining the unthinkable but it's all tied up with 9 years of emotional blackmail plus everyday life as well. Her husband really is a rat but she still loves him...
The monsoon has just stopped but the garden is battered. How did the seeds turn out? I've had some of the lettuce I planted in tubs but a couple are starting to bolt. I'm not sure whether I should leave them or pull the whole plant and does the bolting affect the taste? I sent in a question for Terry on the allotment special but it was sort of covered by Christine Hamilton so didn't get read out. Perhaps I should put a message on the JV board. The radicchio are starting to get hearts but are not very red!
How did your haircut turn out? I'm not impressed with mine so am definitely going to try somewhere else next time.
Well must go.
See you later and enjoy the weekend!
Helen

Hi Helen
Just back home from a session in Toys R Us. If I wasn't having to go out driving later on, I would treat myself to a very large gin.
The motorway was just blocked solid both directions.
I had forgotten it was first day of the school holidays, and the world and his brother and kids are out driving.
I think the Belgium Chocolate is a bit of a Lothario. I think he has made noises with all of us !! Makes me giggle. I run out of things to say.
Penny thought I had been for a liquid lunch (that's next Friday !!) but I was only writing about Dutch cakes and biscuits !! Catherina knew what I meant.
Weather bright and sunny here, but we have had grey skies and rain earlier this morning.
You sound as though you are a good friend. Everyone has troubles don't they, some more than others.
My hair is now brown. I am not pleased The hairdresser did her own thing, and now I have to go back and get it done again. I could spit.
My garden seeds are so lovely. I'll throw a few more packets out at random next year.
Have a lovely time on holiday won't you. Hope you get the chance to get into Devon and Cornwall. Oh, and Dorset is lovely too.
Don't drink the rough cider in Somerset, it makes you sick. (Voice of experience here)
Look after your little lettuces.
Love
Jen

Hi Jen
I'm just catching up with everything before we go away tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to the break even though my cold seems to have come back.
I'd love to know if we already know BC! He's rather amusing to say the least.
I'm hoping we won't run into too many problems on the roads. We already will have to join the M6 a junction down as the Tatton Park Flower Show is on this week and that's where we would normally join. It's a nightmare to go anywhere near there at the moment.
My hair is a bit darker than usual too and I feel quite dowdy becuse of it. Isn't it odd how it can effect you. I just think that mine is too short as it is getting a little better as it grows.
I think we will be going to Dartmouth while we are away which is somewhere I've never been to before so I'm glad the forecast is good for once. It's going to be great just seeing our friends again after almost a year.
I finished a book last night so can't decide what to take with me. I've bought the new Elizabeth Buchan "A Certain Age" and I've a Santa Montefiore that a friend passed on.
PP is on top form at the moment isn't he? I do wish you could read his book, as it's very good.
There are a few odd new names on JV this week, I'm starting to be a bit suspicious. Did you read the comment that someone thought one of the nuisance posters was JV himself....
Well must go and finish tidying up. Have a good weekend and speak to you later next week.

Hi Helen
Have a great week end. Dartmouth is a lovely place, and the naval college is a beautiful building. There are so many things to see in Dartmouth, the ferry across the river is fun, the shops are lovely, the views magnificent, and the local pub food is good !
Well, BC is funny and I think it is someone very nice indeed. If I though for one minute it wasn't, I would never write the silly things I have been !
PP has written a brilliant message re the JV board spoiler. Whoever it is has many faces, and I am sure the boring Sunday night poster, Teresa, is also one of the 'spoiler's' many characters.
Yes, I am sure PP's book will be brilliant, so I will have to think seriously about replying to him with his offer to read through his chapters.
I am away on holiday for a week, so will miss seeing you out and about down here ! We are off to Italy in the morning. Shush, don't let that slip, as I have said my fond farewells to BC, plus I like to keep some things quiet! Might be nice for people to wonder if you and I are the same person, and perhaps we may be missed.....
Yes, you're right, I feel dowdy with my hair darker. My hair will lighten in the sun though. Well must dash, got loads of things to do - like packing !!
Speak to you in August !
Jen
