Howya doing? Don't know why but I'm bored!
Was out to lunch but didn't have much to drink as I was driving so that's probably why.
Nothing much else to report. Jeremy played one of my all time favourites yesterday 'third finger left hand' by Martha and the Vandellas so dug out the scratched old single and played it in the afternoon, and thought about the clubbing it reminded me of. Happy days!
Off to pour another glass of wine!
Speak soon

Hi Helen.
Yes, I am a little bored tonight. Just on my first glass of red. Time to get another large one. Saw that you had been on the CS board and had been out to lunch. Hope it was enjoyable.
Not much happening here. Sunday evening was great. I don't know what it was, but really I was as drunk as a skunk. Disgraceful.
Monday no badminton, dancing on the evening. Out with the usual suspects on Tuesday. I went and played badminton on Wednesday am, with a group I usually feel very inferior with. I really had to pluck up courage to go, and of course it was fine, and I played all right.
Nothing much else but walking the dogs ! Neighbours went away the early hours of this morning and I am looking after their cats. Which is no big deal as I just pop next door twice a day to feed them, put them out and clean the litter tray. Yuk !
This weekend we have no plans so that's why I am probably a little flat. My daughter is bringing her god daughter to visit on Saturday, she is only 2 and so gorgeous, and we are going to the Adventure Park Farm or whatever it's called.
Is your dad doing all right ? Have you any plans for the week end ?

Back again!
I used to do cat duty regularly but we were just saying the other day how few there are in our street now. I think another one must have died as I haven't seen him for a few weeks. He must have been 17 at least and had a lovely little face.
I haven't made any plans for the weekend as I just feel like hanging around and seeing what turns up. I need to give a hosta plant to a friend so will call around. I've a few video's that I haven't a clue as to what's on them so will be in for a surprise. I also think I'll attack the clutter again!
How did the Adventure Park go? It sounds like fun. If Peter had been home we were going to go to Chester Zoo (his choice not mine!)as we've never been. I'm not really a zoo lover but I think they have a baby elephant so we will try to go this summer.
My Dad seems a bit better as he has rested his leg a lot this week. His temper is still there though!
I had to laugh the other day when my Mum rang me to say she was going to see the Shadows on their farewell tour tonight. A old neighbour/friend of hers had bought tickets before Xmas but he and his partner have a very on/off relationship. Rather than waste the ticket he asked Mum! I think the whole tour is a sellout and I wished I'd booked for Manchester later in the month. Hank and Bruce both come from Newcastle so I would imagine it will be quite emotional for them.
Well the glass is empty so I'll say goodnight and cheers!
Helen
