Just noticed you were online so thought I'd leave you a message.

The heating is progressing slowly after a complete re-hash of plan. They were going to take down my fitted wardrobe to put a new pipe underneath! After the atom bomb exploded they agreed there was in fact a much easier way to do it !

I gave up trying to post something on the message board earlier. Hope your hubby's flight wasn't too late!

We didn't get back from the airport until after 12, but not too bad.
He brought back 2 bottles of brandy and one of - what used to be called Amaretto - but it's called something else these days. Naturally, I had to have a glass. Better than the horlicks.

I think PP is tongue in cheek a lot of the time. Makes me laugh though.

See Jez B is back again. Bless. He usually posts last thing so nobody can have a go at hime in the day time. Each to their own, and he's entitled to his opinion. Just wish he'd change his tune. (Is that one of the hated cliches ?0

Speak tomorrow hopefully. I am going to make an effort and go to badminton in the morning. I didn't go either badminton or swimming this Wednesday. Too tired.

Saw your message just as I came to switch of the computer. I was shattered after all the aggro. I can see light at the end of the tunnel thank goodness.

I love Amaretto (still call it that),it's delissh poured over vanilla ice cream with some chopped nuts and a dollop of spray cream as a quick dessert (my last minute favourite for unexpected guests!)

Have just read Jez B,s post, he doesn't give up! I wonder should I make a suggestion that he starts a Jimmy Young Appreciation Society on h2g2? I really feel like asking him why anyone would go to the JV message board to read about JY. If Dalek or no one else replies I may... don't want to start another row though.

Our friends phoned from S Africa last night and we had a good laugh as she sounded a bit drunk (she wasn't as they were just going out!), it was just what I needed. We called them back as we use One Tel for overseas calls. I call Dallas for 3p a minute anytime of day - cheaper than when I used to call her in Sandbach!

Must go and make a shopping list. Speak later.

Thank you for the dessert tip. Had another glass with hubby when he came home last night.

I did complain about one of Jez's previous conversations (class sneak !) but had a reply saying everything was all right.
