Hi Paula
I just read your postings on Can We Fall?
How many assignments have you done in non-fiction? I transferred to fiction after doing five - I was losing the will to live as we approached corporate magazines.
You don't need to talk to your tutor - just contact student services and tell them that you want to transfer. If there's a fiction tutor available, or if your tutor does both, there shouldn't be a problem. They'll give you the option to go back and finish non-fiction at the end, but you don't have to if you don't want to. It's your course - make it work around you.
Hope this helps
K.

Hi Karen
I have done eight assignments in Non-fiction. I have to write to them to change. I tried to telephone the other day and student services said I couldn't speak to the tutor personally, I have to write. I don't know how I have coped with it to be honest.
I want to concentrate on fiction. Then I think I will do a lot more witing and gain more confidence. I don't think my heart is in writing anymore, that's because of this course. I don't get much time to write with working fulltime so I want to be doing something I enjoy, not writing for trade magazines.
