I am very sorry for the message. I had been out all day gardening and then we went out for a meal to a new restaurant, and yes, I got just a teensie weensie bit squiffy. But hey, it was fun and I had a good time. Good food, wine and company, then ran a little wild. Nudge nudge !

How are you ? We went to Cornwall last week for a few days. Such a shame the weather couldn't have been as lovely as it is now, but we enjoyed ourselves while we were there. We wandered round St Ives, and stayed in a very nice B & B there. We hope to go back perhaps in a few month's time.
We walked the coastal path to Lands End and took the obligatory photographs. The sea and beaches in Cornwall are beautiful. We had a look at house prices while we were there and they were astronomical, especially those with sea views.

Today is lovely again. I should have been out playing badminton, but decided to catch up on e mails and phone calls. Plus, I have the dentist this afternoon at 3.00 so need to have some time in the house. I shall go line dancing tonight if I am ok after my session in the dentist's chair.

No other news. Boards are a bit quiet today. Expect people are out enjoying the sun.

Well, we have to take our pleasures as and when they present themselves.
Glad you had such a good time, the line-dancing must keep you fit if you have so much energy after a day's gardening.

I soon get fed-up weeding etc. An hour is long enough for me, I'm not a natural gardener. Until my husband died I had never done any, he used to mow the lawn around me while I was sun-bathing. Now I think: "How COULD I?"

Yes, the boards have been quiet, but yesterday everything was so slow, I gave up. Maybe others did the same.

I was mad at having missed the party last Friday, especially as I was doing my housework! How sad is that? Icould have been rolling about the worse for drink instead.

Hope you were able to go line-dancing. One step forward - two steps back.

Seems I was the only one around sober on Saturday, I'd better get a glass of , I've got a lot of catching up to do.

Wondered where you were, hadn't seen you around, so last week-end I asked aquestion on the help-page. Got some really weird answers. Can't remember the name of the poster now, but I'll look it up and come back to you.

Yes, thank you, I know I can always ask you and I'm very grateful for that. It wasn't anything big, it was just something I thought was strange at the time. I wondered why, if I clicked on my name "Online", I got a list of converstaions and I asked why my special page didn't come up.
I got ONE sensible answer at least, somebody said that other people saw my page, even if I didn't.

I HATE being the only one sober. Everybody else seems to be so daft when They're drunk. My husband used to go to sleep as I got louder and louder!!

Ah yes, this is the 2nd conversation we have on the go. Have I replied ? I just cannot keep up at time.

Did you know that 'One Step Forward and Two Steps Back' is the name of a dance ? It's a beginners one which I first learned, and I use the word loosely, some years ago.

Some of the dances have arm movements as well as the feet ! Oh god, can't you just picture me !! I said to my friend that I couldn't do two things at once, and she said 'Now you know how men feel'
We laughed and ruined the line.
