Evening Catharina.

Where is the announcement about SC ? I have just had a quick look and cannot see anything. It's about time though, because he is offensive most of the time.
And I am not impressed with Shellay either. Sorry, on my high horse and holier than thou tonight. Not good.

Been line dancing tonight. I was glad of the change of scenery and never thought about another thing other than trying to keep up and try to face the same way as everyone else. I think I was in a line on my own at one point.
I will be away for a few days next week. We are off to Cornwall.
I didn't realise Neil lived so close to Cardiff. I have seen the photo of his little grand daughter. What a lovely little girl she is.
Glad you enjoyed your Dutch day out ! The Dutch have a reputation for being full of life and fun. Best way to be smiley - biggrin

No news. There were rabbits, cats and dogs at the Animal Centre. And here we are. Going to add one other animal. I do hope they take the dog and I know he will be an excellent pet in the right environment. He is so boisterous and needs a lot of walking and fussing. Plus, big dogs are not cheap to feed.

Hi Jen,

The announcement was taken off after about half an hour.

I agree with you about Sh. but maybe she'll be better now he's gone, until Gerv. turns up.

Saw you in the CB this morning and offered you coffee, but you'd smiley - run again.

Hope you have a lovely time in Cornwall, whereabouts are you going? Have no idea where you live, actually.
Are you close toCardiff then?

Must go and rinse colour out of my hair.

May see you later,

smiley - love

Hi again Catharina !

I live in North Somerset, between Bristol and Weston super Mare. So, yes, fairly near to Cardiff I suppose.

I think I have told you in my other e mail about Cornwall. Wish I was there now, as the weather is perfect. I will go and do just a little bit of gardening in a minute. My back is still aching from all the digging I did yesterday.

Hope your hair colour was a good one. I have just paid another small fortune for hair colouring. But from my early teens, I always liked to mess about with different colour schemes, but never bleach. (My dad wouldn't let me !)

Hi Jen,

We seem to have two threads on the go, haven't we?

Yes, Cornwall is lovely, but I don't know if I would like to live there, I like to think I can get to London easily if I have to. Although, each time we go there it seems dirtier and more scary, but there's something special about London by night, I think.

I don't think I've ever been in our part of the country. Isn't it mad, really, that we go travelling abroad without having seen everything in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland first.

Yes, I've found a hair-colour I really like, it looks very natural, but I haven't dared to do the highlights yet. Don't know why.
I've only started messing about with my hair since I was married. Soon after I was married I did a "home-perm". The smell was so horrendous that my husband threatened to divorce me if I ever did it again. At that time the mixture had to be on the hair all night!!!Can you imagine it?
I couldn't stand it myself.

See you soon,

smiley - love

Hi Catharina !

Perhaps we should start a brand new thread. How do we do that ? For years I used to have a perm until one time the outcome was that I looked as though I was wearing a judge's wig. Shudder. What we do to make ourselves look better !

My sister lives in London and I think that it is a lot better now that when I first started going there in the 60s. (But then I visit there fairly infrequently). She loves it in London and I don't think she could ever contemplate living anywhere else. It is an exciting place. We were last there in Spring 2003 when we went round the Tower of London. It was fantastic and the first time we had ever visited the place. We half heartedly joined the queue for the London Eye but gave up and went for something to eat instead.

It is so cold here ! Wet, wild and windy. Bristol is an ok place I suppose. The Matthew is here and of course the Clifton Suspension Bridge. Weston is awful. Never go there.

Jen
