Hi Corrie,
thanks for all the tips on how to get around. Fly's page is lovely.
See you've got Roberta Flack as one of your favourite songs too. It is a lovely melody

Hiya Jen,
I love so many songs I guess that's why I have Radio 2 on from 7 - 7. After that it's what I want to listen to. On Beethoven tonight.
That Roberta Flack song is one of my favourite gooey songs. I remember being in the car with my Dad a few years ago. My heap had broken down again and he was bailing me out, as usual! That song came on the Jimmy Young show and I had just been giving Dad grief for listening to R2. I filled-up and so did Dad. It's a moment I will always remember.

A guy at work asked us all to name 6 of our favourite songs. He said he could work out our personalities from our choice.
Needless to say, I got cold feet. I didn't want to come out as a skitzo or something.

That would only be his opinion though, wouldn't it?
My music choices always depend on what mood I'm in. We've got playlists in the computers at home and play what we want when we want. Our neighbours are thank goodness!
Playing one of 'Mummy's bath-time' just now.

Yes, only his opinion. It's like when you receive of complete a 360 profile of a colleague. It's all based on perception.
But if 6 trusted people say the same thing about you, then there has to be an inkling of truth.
Looking forward to Mother's Day as it will be nice to see the kids. All the restaurants near us are fully booked, so not sure what's happening. A pizza would do me ! As long as I'm not cooking I don't care.

Hi Jen,
I think I missed this last night - sorry.
Went to Tesco this afternoon with my daughter who is 9. She's been off school since Tuesday. (Something nasty is hitting our village!) She was excited about Mother's Day and wanted to spend her pocket money on me. I was trying to explain the Corrie theory about Mothers Day - that every day is mothers day, she doesn't need to spend money, commercial clap trap, you know what I mean I'm sure. Then after we put the shopping in the car I realised it was this Sunday, Doh! and hadn't sent the Outlaw a card, or my mum! So dashed back and bought cards and posted them. Whew! There would be BIG trouble if I did forget!

Hi Corrie.
For mother's day I am now cooking !! Now there's a surprise. Still, I don't mind at all. My daughter and I have decided that we'll try to get to the cinema to see The Mona Lisa Smile with Julia Roberts. It's got good write ups so should be fun.
I agree that it is all very commercialised, but if you forget to send a card, then all hell is let loose !
Jen
PS Have a lovely week end.
