Hi ES Have you tried the books by Christian Jacq would thoroughly recommend them?
Will pop back later to check messages! I'm a bit lost over the thread's bit you were explaining to Corrie. Never mind plenty of time to learn.
See you soon.

I've had bad news today about my son who is presently languishing in Harrogate Hospital( and the army never bothered to tell us) He needs scans on his neck and left arm due to the fact that his left hand keeps turning blue. Mrs tog got a phone call off the sister on the ward about 3 hours ago, Quote" I presume the Army have told you your son is in hospital?" Reply.."Er no"
Hey ho..off to Harrogate tomorrow to find out what's going on. I want to phone the barracks and bollock his bosses but Mrs Tog won't let me.

Phone them and tell them exactly what you think. I am so sorry to hear your news. It's deplorable that they haven't phoned you. I bet you and Mrs. Tog are very worried. Have you spoken to your son?
I'll be thinking about you all.

Yes we have spoken to him..he is bored and a tad worried, nothing we can do till tomorrow, when I leave the hospital and drive up to the barracks and kick off!...At the age of 17 they should have informed us as to what was happening with him...I'm furious!..different matter if he was an adult then it's up to him...it's just disgcraceful!
He's on his own in a strange hospital wondering what's wrong with him and no support from anyone! Can you imagine how we feel?

Hello,
I am trying to imagine what you two are going through. I know I would feel like kicking his boss in the balls. I worry about my children all day every day when they are at school. They are my life and I can't bear the thought of them feeling lonely or scared.
You will be with your son tomorrow and he'll feel comforted knowing you are on your way. Don't know what the problem is but it could be something very simple like a trapped nerve.
Don't go on the internet looking for possible causes because you'll frighten yourself. I do that all the time and get myself in a state. The other day I was in a panic because Danny had sore legs. I went to six different sites and they all came back with growing pains. That was a relief I can tell you. I gave him a warm bath and massaged his legs and they've been fine ever since.
You might want to e-mail Jeremy about this. He may well have a debate about how inconsiderate the services are to our younger heros. Someone must be held accountable.
Have a and try to relax. Still thinking about the three of you.

No it's not a trapped nerve but thanks for the suggestion. I have just totally lost it with Clott on the Radio2 board( shouldn't have gone there but felt like having a dig at someone and got the expected result)
To put the icing on the cake my MOT on my car ran out today, but don't care Mrs Tog will pay the fine if I am caught or we get the train and stay overnight.
Thanks for the concern and thoughts.

It's too easy to loose it with him. I don't know what his problem is!
Don't let him upset you, he is NOT worth it!

Hey tog
I'm so sorry to hear about your lad, Mrs tog must have all the materal hormones running on overtime at the moment. If you look at my journal for last week you'll see what a worrying time we've had so I really do sympathise .
If I remember rightly, you told me off yesterday for getting involved in a spat with howard so I am extending the 'privilege' to you!
Now, we have stacks of leftovers from Pondboy's party. There is some chicken curry, chilli, spicy chickpeas, coleslaw, chocolate pots (all of these are home made ) a selection of cheeses, two tartes tatins (still in freezer) and enough wine and beer to sink the titanic . You name it, it's yours!
