Heya. I saw you mention that at Easter you are going to be going to a LARP event that has 800+ players, high standard of kit and are dressing with rabbit ears... you're not playing a wemic at Maelstrom, are you?

I'm going down on the Thursday - will I see you around?

Yes, albeit not until late in the evening. I'm one of the female dryads (although of course you won't be able to tell until time in, of course...) and we'll be pitching up Thursday night, if we can. If you see a bit white awning with some native types, I'll probably be there or around there.

I can't see us ever crossing IC, but I'm sure we can get together OC at some point.

Thursday and Friday I'l be wearing a h2g2 tshirt, so you'll know it if you see me.

So, how was your event? We had an absolutely fantastic time, and got plot and everything!

Absoliutely brilliant. I was one of the loyals repeatedly throwing myself at Havocstan - and oh boy, we made our point!

We had a great time too, mostly watching all you invaders throw yourselves at each other. *grin* At one point I was betting on how many time Primus switched sides during the battles. I got to four before we were called away on Important Business (TM).

All in all we had a fantastic weekend. Going back to real life has been a bit of a dowener. At least in Maelstrom we are getting to change the world!

Apparently there was a sweepstake going on how long it would take us all to die. I'm glad we entertained you!

We did change the world. We made it a better place. It gives me hope - if we can do it in RP, maybe we can do it real life.

What was even funnier was that I'd just prayed asking for a more exciting battle (after the Loyal vs Fallen/Havoc battles), when a huge mob stampeded down the field, looking for Havocstani blood. My character swore it was due to their prayer. I had a *ball*.

Making the world a better place is easier when you have messengers from the gods, and no mortgage to pay. I really must get reincarnated as a tree...

Have to ask: Did either of you visit/see the Bitter Moon Teahouse? That's my lot... minus me because Real Life prevented me from coming to the event.

I'll be there in June though. Even if it kills me.

Unfortunately my character isn't really interested in such things.

Shame you missed this event. A lot happened!

I went to the Bitter Moon. And spectacularly failed to pay for the tea, because, well, eidolon. No money.
