Hey Nat that was cool , how did you change the thread title while ours are still the same?

When you press reply, there's a box with the subject title above, and you can click on it and change the title. If people press reply on that message the same subject title comes up

So you just started a new thread yea? ( yea we've all gone our seperate ways on this one eh? I didn't fancy being a pirate to wet cold so i thought i was justified in staying in .)

I was just getting frustrated by the "humpty dumpty fell" and other unrelated piffling posts.
Your last post set the scene really well, do you do any poetry or stories?

Yea i do try and write a bit of poetry , i'm new on this site but it has got me writing the odd line or two . Good fun . Do you write poetry or short stories? I see you play drums that sounds fun.

Occasionally I attempt poetry but I normally don't share it with anyone.
Drums is quite fun, but my confidence with it has gone a bit at the moment.

Well it is nice to share poems ,i must find anither poetry thread , the one i was in has just vannished . How long you been drumming?

About 5 years, long time now .

We sat on the curb of the road
Talked of a life we dreamt of
Daydreams , but who knows

She, always a smile
Her best friend i liked
And she liked me

where can they be now
Are they best friends still
That would be no suprise

Your poem reminded me of someone i knew years ago .

Aww, that's a bit bittersweet. Its strange when with some people you can remember every single thing about them, even when it's from long ago and they probably never thought much of it.

Sorry didn't mean to make you sad. Do you wanna read another ? I wrote one dedicated to the people on a poetry thread ( which has incidentally disapeared , i've been pulling my hair out, well almost) and after showing it to one person ( my ace ) never got round to posting it.

That's ok, most days it doesn't take much. If you're happy to post them i'm all erm... eyes.

I'm only posting this to feed my ever increasing ego, because i suprised myself by writing a whole sonnet off the top of my head .
Just this one Nat and i'm gonna make some dinner . By the way thanks for reading them . I only let one other person read it and i've been dying to show it to someone else .

amazing what you can do if you find
your welcome and your treated oh so kind
with space to breath and freedom to express
short nurtured inspiration bears her flowers

led by example of true openess
well meant well put poetry nothing less
i find the words that often fail do flow
its therapy a verse or two and fun

now i've indulged my selfish need for time
of others who ive wished to read my rhymes
and from excepting hearts like roaring fires
i have been warmed my thirsting spirit quenched

to all my friends and those i care i'll heed
to learn the ways to meet good friendships need

Occasionally. Hardly ever anything good, so I tend to keep them to myself.
