I hear you're wishing for free pandoradotcom-ness. Well, here's the thing - accounts are free to US folks and the only thing that you need to prove that you're an American is a zipcode, say something like 55123, and boom! pandoradotcom goodness. Not that I'm suggesting you should create a fake zipcode to get free internet radio or anything like that. Oh no. I wouldn't do nor suggest that.

Haha, cheers. Thing is, I'll probably get *very* annoyed with the ads. I don't know how bad they are on pandora, but we had a yahoo one a while back and it was about three adds for every song it played.
But yeah, thanks for the advice agin, I'll have to get round to trying that.

The ads are hardly noticeable and most importantly they don't interrupt the music. It's waaaaaay better than yahoo!

Wow. Yep, I'll be signing mesen up later. Have you heard of last.fm? I think they're international.

Yeah, I use that as well. Last.fm, I find, is great for discovering new unsigned bands, and much more peer-orientated than pandora. Last.fm is "this is what other people who like this like", whereas pandora is "this is what professionals think you should like" - and I'm not always one to agree with professionals.
Mind you I argue with peers just as much!

Haha. Yeah, not many people I know share my musical tastes. Not many 14 year olds seem to like the NewWaveOfBritishHeavyMetal, or proggy stuff, or trash metal from the 80's, or stoner rock, or ambient post-rock or.... So what kind of stuff do you listen too?

Yeah, not too many people share my music taste either. Twee handclappy indiepop made by folks in their bedrooms has a somewhat limited audience, as does sleazy-glam-punk from the 1990s (those two genres being the polar opposites of my music loving spectrum, although I generally state that I love all music full stop, save Simply Red and Celion (sp?) Dion (or as I like to call her sealion dying)).

Haha, Sealion Dying, an apt description for the sounds produced on the godawful titanic song.
I'm beginning to get into the more indierock stuff, which probably isn't propery indie, but still, I'll have to try and find some of that stuff and check it out.
