Without getting too serious over the holiday period, there's a lot of common sense in your thoughts re. the Internal/Infernal Combustion Engine.
Here's another thing to worry about, too: read some of the (now out-of-date but still frightening) stats about the toxins we bury in landfill and forget about for 30+ years in the form of DISPOSABLE DRY CELL BATTERIES - you'll find a few basic facts on my PS under "Journal Entries"
Ask yourself: can it be right that I leave a problem of this nature for my grandchildren to sort out?
Politicians don't care: they all without exception know that they aren't going to be around and in office to take the blame in 30 years from now .....
