Which computer programmes did you use to create H2G2 and edit it? My nice boss has agreed to send me on a Dreamweaver course next month, I was told that this is one of the best programmes for web editing.. so what do you guys use?

Shim uses DreamWeaver to edit the nasty HTML tables and cut the graphics up so the buttons all work. Other HTML was written by hand. The actual programming of the scripts was done in Perl, but since the core of the Guide is the database, we could have used any scripting language that could talk to it. We used Perl because Yoz and Shim were already familiar with it, so it made sense at the time to save them having to learn a new scripting language.
