Help poor Frink.....
The Ghost Of TV's Frink Started conversation Jun 25, 1999
Jim, since you are well known for helping out your fellow researchers, I thought I'd whine to you for a bit. When I wrote my first article and submitted it (five weeks ago), I decided to wait a few weeks before complaining that it hadn't been rejected. I was going to try and make six weeks, but I ran out of willpower.
Did my article get lost? Did it hurt you all on such a deep level that you promised yourselves never to think of it again? Should I turn in my resignation? I'm not even sure I remember what I wrote about.
Help me Jim Lynn, you're my only hope.

Sorry - things have been a little busy for me recently.
As you'll have seen from the frontpage, we've got a brand new Editor in, and he'll be going through the backlog. It's big, though. We've all been working on it during our spare time, but there isn't always enough of that, so we haven't been able to make much headway. Now we've got a full-time Editor he'll be going through the submitted entries much more quickly.
Please be patient, and don't be discouraged if your articles aren't accepted. Mark will be writing a more useful set of guidelines for submission soon, which will give you a more accurate idea of the things we'd prefer to see in Guide entries.

Thanks for the pep talk. No more whimpering for at least another week. I promise.
