When I post a comment it then reloads the page, presumably to show that it has indeed posted it. I am happy to believe that it will post, I would be much happier to be posted back to the page that I came from before that and not into the thread again. This check it posted okay is a wasted upload to me. What do you think?

But in that case, where would it take you? Since you came from the thread in the first place, where should it take you back to?

Ok thought this through. I want to go two posts back. So if I see I have a message on my page. I click on it to answer it. I reply and post. At the moment I then usually click the back button twice to get back to where I came from. Then I can answer the next one.
If I am checking out what Spartus has posted (Sorry Spartus - I am just that nosey) I would go to his page and see what he is up to, in this case I would prefer to return to Spartus' page.
If I am looking for random articles to read using the search page it would be the same. I would want to go back there.
Because you already have a preview option below - you don't need to see it posted up. Its a wasted 'load'.
