Hi Jim,
We've set up a new volunteer group, the AViators, to add AV content to Edited Entries. As we can't have the clips onsite, we're currently planning to link to an official h2g2 YouTube account - all the clips are being checked over by the Eds before we add them, so there's no problem with them editorially.
The reason I'm here is because it's been mentioned that similar clips are embedded at http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/britishfilm. I was wondering if there is any way of us doing something similar with the clips we've created for the AViators?
Just thought I'd ask on the off-chance

It's being looked at. If it's OK for us to embed, then we'll have a GuideML tag to embed clips.

Fantastic - we'll go for plan A then, and await developments on the tag with bated breath. Thanks very much for your help!

Do you mind if I 'butt' in your conversation?
Please tell me if I'm not wanted here but I thought the 'Lego'.. "God loves me" spoof was excellent!

I'm trying to learn how things work.
Should this appear within the Entry itself, as on the British Film subsite, or as a link to a popup, as on A1105426?
Perhaps the suggested GuideML above should appear as
<a href="/h2g2/video-embed?v=KKEkgjfDlng&from=A12345&title=A+Beginner's+Guide+to+Cricketing+Terminology" title="A Beginner's Guide to Cricketing Terminology" target="h2g2-video-A12345">Video Clip: A Beginner's Guide to Cricketing Terminology
