You said you'd be interested to see the finished product. well, it's not exactly finished, but there is nevertheless something worth investigation at A745887. Download it and have a play: it has more bugs than a tramp's beard, but it works after a fashion.

Any chance of seeing the source? I got it to exception within about 5 minutes (that was just downloading a page) and debugging it would be a little easier with the source. You might get some bug fixes from me if you're lucky.

Fine by me: I welcome some expert help (I'm a database man really, not a DHTML programmer). My email address is felonious_DOT_monk_AT_dsl_DOT_pipex_DOT_com. Drop me a message and I'll send you the source (probably not till next week).

PS: like I said it's very buggy. Treat this version as a proof of concept for now. My intention in releasing it is to build up some momentum behind it by showing that the solution *is* possible. But I'm no HTML expert.
I assume you're au fait with C#/VB.NET? If not, there may be some new stuff for you.

It's been a while since I did any VB, but I've been playing with C# for a while so that'd be no problem.

I suggest I mount it up on www.gotdotnet.com to share the source code. It would be a lot more convenient. I have no objection in principle to it being open source, especially if this helps deliver the product.
