Hi Jim,
I'm sure you're inundated with people's bright ideas, but here are just a couple more about the screen layout that came to me recently:
First of all, could "most recent Guide entries" (which, being just titles, are always fairly compact) come above "most recent journal entries" (which tend to be very long, especially for "erudite" posters such as myself). Just to save scrolling to the bottom of the screen.
Secondly, could those "most recent"s be sorted by edit rather than create time? This is especially useful for we sub-eds because articles we've edited for approval show up as "ours", so to get to the most recent page which is *really* ours, and on which we may well be working, we have to go to the "list all" page.
Thanks for listening
Gary

We'll be doing some work on changing the layout of the homepage, so you can decide what goes where. And it's a good idea to sort by edit time. We couldn't do that before, because (stupidly) we weren't keeping track of the edit times, but since we're doing that now, it's possible to make that change. We could also specify how many recent articles you want see.
Thanks for the suggestions.
