Jim: 1)Is there an index of acepted entries? 2)What is the turnaround time for rejection on average (I'm running about 11 weks)? 3)What are your feelings toward the works of Robert M. Pirsig?

1) http://www.h2g2.com/index.cgi - you can choose either accepted, submitted or regular, or any combination thereof.
2) We don't have an average figure, but we're currently processing submitted entries in strict date order. Yours is in the current batch, so I would say you'll be receiving a verdict, yay or nay, within the next week (possibly longer, because Mark is away for two days at the moment). We've just drafted in some volunteer editors to help with the backlog, which seems to be helping a lot.
3) I tried to read 'Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance' and found it rather dull and pretentious. To be honest, it's not my kind of book. I didn't even finish it. Still, I was fifteen, and preferred Science Fiction, so I guess there weren't enough bug-eyed monsters for my liking.

Hey, thanks. Didn't think you'd respond unless i had Justin (Spartus) drop by for tea again. As for Zen... I like to recomend it as a point of view book but i wouldn't recomend it to people i don't know. Still, you'd probably have a different take on it now then you did when you were fifteen.

That's probably exactly what Jim doesn't want, Spartus and I bugging him for more tea.

Have you SEEN the picture of Ant and Spartus? Or even the picture of me at rounders match - all available on this site somewhere... Will have to let you make up your own mind!

I've seen Justin and Ant in several pictures. I've seen pictures that And and Justin have taken. I've seen pictures that have nothing to do with either Justin or Ant. But i haven't seen you, Peta. I'll go have a look round, see what i can find.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
