Nah, just a bit busy at work, that's all.The Iraq business and the US elections has given us extra work. Especially since the Black Watch business, poor sods. When I was in Zante this year I met a young lad and his girl. He was having a weeks holiday before he was sent to Iraq with the Black Watch. Gotta admire their guts.

Took girlfriend to see Lionel Richie at Wembley Arena Saturday. He come on stage at 21:00 and went off at 22:30 waiting for his first encore. By 21:01 I'd had enough. No seriously he was better than I expected, especially as I don't really like him. He sang his big ones like Hello, 3 Times A Lady and Easy. But also a couple of very heavy rock numbers, with this guitarist crawling on the stage and a saxophinst rolling about the stage. Terrible journey home. They would let me leave via the main exit and sent me out by a side road which took me in the wrong direction and I had to go miles out of my way to get back home. I was shocked. It cost £67 for tickets, then £10 to park. I bought two bottles of Sprite and that colst £3.40. Then they only wanted £12 for a programme. I decided to draw the line there. Still the girlfriend enjoyed it.
