I don't all that sense in running about and getting hot and sweaty. What is the point of going to a gym to walk on a treadmill? You might as well go for a long walk and not pay the gym fees.

I totally agree. I don't like the idea of dressing in gear to exercise either.

We've got plenty of hills here abouts to walk up and down

I look stupid in shorts anyway. With my knees? Come on now. I had a collies dog and used to talk her for 4 half hour walks a day if I wasn't working and three walks when I was. I worked shift work. That was more than enough exercie to keep me fit.

I have a cat to chase about which keeps me on my toes

Me too. Know what you mean. Girlfriend has a builder rebuilding the downstairs cloakroom. Then putting in a new shower, thenpainting and decorating the hall and landing. Talk about hectic.
