Not yet but I'll look for it, I used to talk to one on yoome2 and he used to dish out red ones to Cuddly and me first thing in the morning!
I've not seen you for a couple of days, have you been taking some well earned rest?

Yup I read it. I didn't expect so many answers, just did it for a laugh. Tanzen from Austrailia said something about being flat on the back so you slide them down your nose, then flip them into your mouth, I wonder if I can get her to say the same on the jelly baby thread.
How are you, anyway.

Oh I think Tanzen will do that for you no bother, she's very witty and quick!.. The thread is brilliant by the way, lets all of us be a little light hearted but it is very difficult to keep it on the subject of Jelly Babies.
I'm fine thanks, but my Mum had a fall yesterday and cut her head on the radiator and badly bruised her arm but she's ok and it could have been so much worse because she has two hip replacements and one knee replacement and a very weak part on her lower back but all these parts seemed to have come through it ok. Poor soul also has a tummy bug too so she's not having the best of times. I left work early and went in to see her just to make sure she was telling me the truth as she has been known to hide things from me in case I worry, so I was glad I saw everything first hand. I gave her arm a covering of Arnica (a great homeopathic remedy) it seems to send the bruising back to where it came from and allows the bruise to heal more quickly.
So thats it from me, has anything been happening with you over your time off?

Sorry to hear of your mother. I wore a metal leg brace for years until I finally had a knee replacement operation. It made one leg an inch shorter than the other, which threw the hip out, which threw the spine out. There is a spur in the spine, which caused minor problems, but now the hip and knee have made it even worse. I had a choice. Fuse the discs together, a rod in the back, insert several small bones into the spine, or a series of injectiosn, 8 in total, into the spine. I had the last. It was not actually a cure, but it has helped.
The jelly Baby thread started as a joke, but many have replied. It's really pleasing.

Hi Tony, yes it seems to be a chain of events when one thing goes wrong, but I think you took the right option, a friend of mine had his top 3 vertibrae fused but after a long time where he was inactive not even able to lift anything heavier than a cup, he found out that the fused part was putting a terrible strain on the 4/5th vertibrae so he seemed to be back to square one suffering some really bad pain.
I know the pain my Mum suffered before her op's was unbearable, so much so that I got an unexpected visit from my Dad saying that Mum was wanting to end it all. I made an appointment at the docs and asked it I could sit in with them and within 6 months my Mum had had the 3 op's done, it was hard on her in the beginning but once things started to heal, it gave her a new lease of life. She too is a bit lop sided and I wish she has been able to have the other knee done at the time but I don't think her body in general, was up to a 4th op.
The Jelly Baby thread is good, I like it and its amazing how many people have something to add about them

Last year I went on a weeks cruise down the Nile, followed by four days in Luxor, Valley of the Kings, then Three days by the Red Sea. I flew up to see Abu Simbi.
I toured all the sites, walked miles across the rocky terrain and scrambled on and off the boats. Thank God I only had the injections. I couldn't have done such a psyical holiday if I'd been really bad. The operation on the knees and back were really good and have given me a chance. Ok I needed the rests in between the tours, but just to know I could do it was brilliant. Even went up in a balloon over the valley, God what a sight, what a view. Watching the sun come up over the valley was fascinating.

The amount of posts on the Jelly Baby thread is amazing i'm really enjoying reading it, I think it may go on for evermore
