Ouch! I just burned my mouth on a burrito. Sorry it's been a while since I've been in touch. I've been busy, and I was sick, and I'm starting a new job, and it's just crazy.
I start my new job on Monday the 13th. I'm going to Cracker Barrel, I'll be making soups and sauces and baking bread and stuff. Not too thrilling, but I'll be getting paid more, and I need money for school. I think it's time for a change anyway.
I had orchestra practice today. It went pretty well, but I need a little more practice. The concert is on November 19th, not far away. I think it will be pretty good.
So, what do you think of all this election stuff? By the time you get this, it will probably be determined who won, but there's no decision yet.
Did I tell you about Baxter, my sister's cat? He's so funny. He figured out how to get in my room, and he goes in there every chance he gets. Lately he's been sleeping in there. Last night he pushed my head off my pillow, stretched out, and went to sleep. I didn't have the heart to move him, so I had a tiny corner of pillow for myself.

GG Wow, I remember you!
Good luck with the new job, the concert, and any/everything else.
Sorry to hear you were sick, nothing permanent or disfiguring I hope?
I voted for Albert but not in Florida so I'm all done worrying about it. They should take it to sudden death overtime.
Just thinking, we must have an anniversary coming up?
Talk to you soon, we've left things sort of hanging before.
'till then then~

I am so very sorry.
Just completed a search of our past notes and find to my horror that I missed our anniversary of November 9th. Please forgive me, I won't let it happen again.
Anniversary

Don't worry about it, my dear. I missed it, too. I'm really sorry I haven't been responding in quite a while. I've been in a bit of a bad mood lately, and I didn't want to have it come out in rudeness when I wrote. I just started a new job recently, and it's been very stressful and frustrating. It's beginning to get better, though.
How was your Thanksgiving? Mine was very nice. I went to Massachusetts to see my grandparents and sister and other relatives. Bug moved to a town near Boston, and she got her apartment just a few days before Thanksgiving, so my parents and brothers and I helped her move in. It's a really nice place. I'm very happy for her, because she's had quite a bit of trouble in the past with apartments, and terrible roommates, and all sorts of stuff. But her new roommate seems incredibly nice.
I love this time of year. It's getting colder, the snow has begun to fall, Christmas songs are being sung, and I'm going to get the tree soon. The downside, of course, is my tendancy to go overboard with the shopping, and thus deplete my bank account. For some reason, I went with board games this year. My parents love the Who Wants to be a Millionaire show, so I got them the game. Bug loves Uno, so I got her Uno Attack, a new version of the game that shoots cards at you. My three brothers love the Crocodile Hunter, so I got them the game, even though they don't all live together and will only be able to play it together occasionally.
I'm finishing a class at the Orthodox church, and as soon as I'm done, I'll be able to join. I'm very excited about it, but at the same time I'm worried about my father's reaction. He's the kind of guy who doesn't like things that aren't like what he grew up with, and the Orthodox church is very different than the Presbyterian church he grew up with. I know I don't need his permission, but I would like for him to not dissapprove of what I'm doing. For a very long time, he never really talked to me, he more talked at me. Now that he's finally started treating me like a normal person, I don't want him to get dissappointed in me.
Wow, this is getting long. Once again, please forgive me for being out of touch for so long.

Merry Almost Christmas!
You know we've both been bad lately keeping in touch.
Hope Santa hasn't noticed!
Just a thought but,
when traveling from PA to Danvers,
when you are north of RI but still south of Boston,
honk and then wave out your right window,
I'm only maybe 15 miles away!

Have you ever heard of a Russian Dwarf Hamster? I was at the pet store with Harry on Saturday, and we saw them, and I absolutely fell in love! We went back the nest day, and I bought one. His name is Senor Pedro Mortimer (Harry liked Pedro, I liked Mortimer, and my friend SaraYh wanted to call him Senor). He's really cute. He's about the same size as a mouse. I wanted to get him a little friend to play with, but they told me at the pet store that they would fight.
I was looking through one of my folders from high school, and I found a bunch of poems I'd forgotten about. I really haven't done any writing lately. I don't know why, really.
Well, Sunday is the day I join the church. I'm excited, and just a bit nervous. The nervousness is about the confession. I've never done that before.
Have a wonderful Christmas and eat lots of cookies! Hope yours is white...I think mine might be!
