How you got on today GD at the Pain Clinic. I really do hope it helps for you. I did see something about a Pain Clinic on City Hospital and this lady had chronic back pain for years, and seemingly this has given her a new lease of life. Well lets hope that this is going to be the same for you.
How does your wee girl cope on your bad days and your wife? I can imagine that on bad days you wouldn't be able to do much play with your wee girl on these days.
Anyway good luck.

Hiya,
Well, I thought I was going to start a new course of treatment today, but apparently its now going to be in about six weeks. Today I was given another check-up and yet more pills to take (I'm soooo fed up of taking pills).
Still on the plus side the (female) doctor had warm hands and a very nice bedside manner
My wife and daughter (Katya) have grown to put up with me on my bad days. I've had this back problem for all of Katya's life, so she doesn't know any different. But yes, it does get me down when I can't do as much as I'd like to with her.
Thanks for the good wishes

Your welcome GD.
Its a shame you are going to have to wait another 6 weeks, but as you know it won't be long in going in and hopefully and eventually you will be able to do things that you can't do now.
I have my own worries about one of my daughter's health (Eilidh, 6yrs) who has a failing right kidney and her left one is not 100 per cent either but she has been put on meds for a year and every 3 months she has to go to the hospital to get poked, prodded, etc..., blood tests and scans she takes it in her stride but it does take its toll out on me (3 or 4 weeks back I was really down). Lets hope this course of meds she is taking helps her. She's already been through the mill and she has said "why is it always me?"
Anyway regards to you and your family

That's rough. I know what I'm like when Katya just has a cold, so I've no idea how you cope with that.
And I return the kind wishes to you and your family.

Eilidh takes it in her stride, never complains, it did come as a shock to me and my husband though. I get away from it all on here though and I do have another 3 children to think about as well.
Have to see to the cherubs dinner now, so take care and probably *see* you about tomorrow or later on.
Take it easy.
