After reading your post on the POV 'Off Topic' thread, I thought I would check out your Personal Space.
That's a pretty impressive introduction you've written there - knocks spots off mine!
Anyway, thought I would leave you a message as your list was looking rather empty.
Catch up with you again on POV.
Cheers!

Hiya Pandora,
I lost all my messages and journal posts when they did the maintenance thingy on Thursday/Friday.
Glad you like my intro. I write lots of little things like 'Threads'. Writing short stories is how I spend most of my time. I don't work at the moment, due to the fact that my spine is no stronger than a damp bit of cardboard, so writing and posting on message boards is how I fill my days.
God that sounds sad doesn't it?
Anyhoo, see you on the board.

That's not sad at all - I know exactly what you must be going through. I had back surgery about 10 years ago (nerve decompression) and was virtually housebound for about a year - at the time, I thought I was never going to recover, and I would say it took about 7 years altogether to get back to 'normal'. It was *so* depressing at times, I only wish I had been on the internet then!

Hi,
Well I've been out of work now for six years. I've had two major operations on my spine already and last week I had an MRI scan to start things rolling for the third.
And as for depression, yep, been there, done that, wearing the T-shirt as I type. What fun I have.
