Welcome to h2g2, my name is Jonathan (in real life too), and I'm one of the h2g2 <./>ACES</.> (Assistant Community Edtior's). We visit new researchers to meet and greet them, as well as offering a helping hand (if needed) and some useful links (I hope ), to make using the site easier.

thank you very much for your welcome!
I have taken a look at the welcome page as well I have taken the don't panic tour. I find the site quite interesting, well, very interesting actually, as I find the idea behind it just plain fantastic! I am so far not quite sure about the percentage of people, researchers, friends, whatever they/we are called, who seriously contribute or who just fill space with chitchat ... of course that is something they can, should and will always do!
Anyway, I always wanted to 'publish' a couple of things, just for the fun of it and I guess that is what I will do here. My first project will be an IDEALISTIC TRIP TO AND AROUND AUSTRALIA. It will cover pretty much every aspect of travelling and it will pay absolutely no repect to time and money, since these factors will limit such a trip indefinitely.
I have been to this beautiful country for 6 times now and have spent endless days on the road, in the country side, in national parks, with the idegenius people as well as with the Aussie we all think to know; and therefore I have something to share. And this is waht the site is about as far as I understand it right ...

I'm glad you like the site most hootooer's all do *something* some write for the Guide some for <./>ThePost</.> ( hootoo's) newspaper, I had one piece in the post , there are loads of things to do and get involved in , and chat at the same time. I spent some time in Oz, working in Perth, 28 or so years ago, if you want to meet your fellow hootooer's try some of the 'Threads' in <./>ASKh2g2</.>
