Today was the first day of "boot camp".
Goody!
Destined stoner and myself had our first day of camp... ugg. First, if youre there on time, the conductor preps you on whats going on this year.
After that we marched for 3.5 hours, forwards, backwards, sidewards, in blocks, in lines and stuff...
FINNALLY LUNCH BREAK!!... Why am i happy? Me and Destined stoner didnt have a ride to lunch so we ran for about three blocks, hopeing that we wont be late, we had GROSS toco van food... GAG!
So we got there, 15 minutes before we were supposed to be on the line with our instruments... after running there and back.
We got into line and roasted in the midday sun (100 dogrees f)... then we rehearsed, The Mask of Zorro... our show for this year, Extreemly hard music!! and the mother-dog-of-our-show... Mask of Zorro- the Finale
ugg!! and we practiced for 2 hours (1-3). HOT BOILLING SUN! need your shades!
i got sunburnt on my ears and my nose and cheeks.
then we got to go!! YAY!! Me and destined stoner ran through the sprinklers and got all wet and gross... then Aaron (mr tall dark and freay) comes by and i yell "HEY AARON!! WANNA HUG?!" ... he advanced on me! I WAS JOKING!! he didnt think so though...*shudder*

i wanna go to boot camp. Then I might have to get a buzz shave like they do in the army. At least I won't look like a girly-stoned-frizz out.
