hello Friedegg and read your work ages ago and i forgot to tell you. I love the bits about the eagle too great movement!
I wonder what direction the story will take? Have you written the rest yet, or is just a beginning for something to come...
and also how come you got a crit from a pro!! Thats a rare and wonderful thingy!

Hi Jelly - not sure why they chose 'the bird of truth ' for a crit but it was very helpful. It is a prologue for my novel - the one that is languishing in the cupboard. Maybe I will place the first chapter here. It is a dark and mysterious book I'm afraid. Part thriler, part love story.

have fun Jelly - It may seem a little strange to you if you are not South African but the dialogue is a translation from Afrikaans and they really do speak to each other that way. I hope you hate the Magistrate as much as I do and find a small spot in your heart for his son who becomes a mass murder for the State.
