Now I feel really silly. I have another bloomer. A screen came up and said: do wish to join or leave this group, and as I had already joined I took it to mean I should leave.

I had no desire to divorce myself from my cyber comrades, as it were, but I thought my initial mistake, of posting the start of a story on a conversation had not gone down too well.
