Thanks for the message. can't say that I'm very up on witchcraft and wicker and the sort, but i do like the paranormal. It's a shame to hear about you being ill. But it's good that you can still do some of the things you like. Hope to have a chat with oyu some time soon.

wicca is just one belief of witchcraft, there are so many paths, but all share a common bond i believe.... i don't hold with the black arts tho'.... too risky to even think about....

i understand what you're saying luv.... they seem to want revenge of some kind on who or whatever, they tend to turn to the dark side because they think it's an easy path, but it isn't.... any dark spell or curse will just return to the sender, but threefold.... good spellwork also returns, but i think we can all cope with threefold good blessings, don't you....

I work in a call centre for motorists, covering a 7pm to 7am night shift. not too bad if you can keep yourself busy.

i've not done a reading in a long time luv due to one thing n another... at the mo. i've got so much shite going on around me that i won't even look at the cards let alone try to do a reading...
just go with your gut instinct when you read them, you'll know when you are right.... take your time with them... write down the cards and their order in the spread.... keep going over them and make notes... if the card won't speak to you don't force it, if it's meant to tell you something it will, if not then just ignore it and move on to the next..... good luck....

I've found the oriental ideas towards divination and astrology in general very interesting and with a few additions from my physics days ()seems to be very plausable. It's all about the manipulation of energy. It's one of those things that seems to be able to be applied to anything, including tarot. What do you think?

i have runes but can't get to grips with them really, but they are interesting.... i agree about the oriental methods, i have tried the i-chi but it is complicated to understand... well it is for me anyway....
i usually just go along with my claircentient feelings and spirit help.... i also am a great believer in the power of the pendulam, and would like to master that more in the future....

Runes are good, but it is a case of getting to grips with their meaning. However they do allow for a closer examination if the meaning is still a bit vague, which sometimes with tarot you have to live with. My pack has a sense of humour and will tell me off if I try to go too far. Now that IS wierd! LOL!

I-ching is not too bad to get to grips with as there are only 64 possible combinations to deal with, far less than tarot or runes. In fact for tarot, if you are using the celtic cross method, the first card can be one of 78 possible cards. You then have to double that to include that the card can be reversed meaning 156 possible combinations for the fisrt card alone. If you follow that formula, then for a standard celtic cross reading of 10 cards, the total number of combinations is 2(10)x78x77x76x75x74x73x72x71x70x69= 4,675,765,217,094,107,136,000!!!

I feel that it is all to do with the manipulation of energy. The Chinese believe in 'chi', somehting I'm sure you already know. Well scientists have found something called 'Dark Matter', in fact about 90% of all matter in the universe is made out of it, although you can't see it. The only way you can tell it exists is it still has a gravitational pull which effects the light from stars. It follows that there is something similar with energy, and that you can flow between the two. You can therefore, predict the way that energy will flow by using a suitable medium. Aparently it all comes from the start of the universe when there was a riduculous amount of a strange matter that converted into another state. Therefore it can happen again. It's all about the way that matter reacts at the sub-atomic level using quantum mathematics.

I use the Rider-Waite deck too, don't know why but I just feel more with them. Again as you say, hard to explain, but if you ever feel it you know what you're talking about.
