Here I am, rock me like a hurricane
...or at least a mild spring drizzle
So I've just recently joined in here at h2g2, and I'm finding that this is even more interesting than what I'd heard. The amount of information available is staggering, and the ability to just throw out ideas and see what people think is excellent.
So as I sit here writing I here the sounds of Outkast basslines blasting from a Cadillac parked across the street. I smell the the tart, skunkish perfume of a high grade bong-rip coming from the alley. So I begin to wonder how I ended up here. Born in the city, moved to the suburbs. Then to low rent housing, followed by a stint in a station wagon, until along came my cramped childhood in a 1 room cottage on a farm. then back to low rent. eventually into a nice Suburban home. A giant leap into a massive five bedroom home on a hill overlooking a small forest. And now, living in my own home, I'm back to.... the innercity.
There's some kind of irony here. I just can't quite find it.
More to come soon. For now, I'm off to play with the dog and try to figure out what he's done to earm his life of luxury.
