so here it is

5*5+7+(1*7)+3=42

i often just saunter through <./>Ask</.> though as that is where most people will post. try pressing the 'Read' option above and going to Interesting Statistics. it takes a few minutes to load up but it shows you the 20 most recent postings, which is good to see where peope are chatting

regards your 42ism-I suggest you put brackets around the 5*5 it will make it clearer that its to be done before the +7

(5*5)+7=(1*7)+3=42
