Deodorant
Posted May 24, 2007
Yup I got some for him, shall supervise the putting it on tomorra morning...hopefully he shall pass the sniff test when he gets home, he was rather pungent again this afternoon after class.....he's rather excited about using grown up stuff....
As for blog I'm getting the walkabout itch, thinking about creating another blog. I like the look of Ed and Pc's blog spots thinking about going incognito to get some things of my chest..these days - because I have been too open on myspace with peeps that I know in RL and then there are the peeps that I know in here...I feel that I need another outlet...is that wrong? Do any of you have other outlets that you keep to yourself private like...but at the same time get em out in the open?
Mebbe spring fever has been a bit slow with me, and I am now feeling that urge to express, but at the same time....I need to do it with people whos feelings I do not yet know?
I dunno, I ramble....

Lost my way...
Posted May 20, 2007
It seems like I have been lost in a world of blogs...but not posting anything much because I'm too overwhelmed and not enough time and energy . I feel somewhat guilty...
Figured I'd update some...
I have a bike! A nice shiny purple one...G and I go on rides after school sometimes and I have planned a trip tomorrow to the ice cream parlour for the last scout meet of the season.
G has been very good in school and his new meds have worked out beautifully. Occasionally he has off days...but he has more good now, than off *beams*
We were working on a diorama earlier, for Grouse. Basically we just painted a box in camouflage for now - and I have ferns, leaves n' berries things to put in it and cut outs of Ruffed Grouse. He was really upset that he didn't get to pick a cool animal like a Tiger because he wasn't quick enough in class to get that one...but is now looking forward to making it after all...after getting green and brown paint everywhere!
I have been feeling very low lately, not sure why....but shall book an appointment soon... Think maybe the monthly is getting intenser than usual...not sure...I don't like to use that excuse, but still...

Robot..
Posted Nov 4, 2006
Well the building of the robot went underway last week and it seems it is almost finished, just a bit of tweaking here and there with a few muffled curses from McRobot Staff.
In case I didn't already explain somewhere, in the pharmacy where I work they are building a specialized robot to pick meds - the RPH (pharmacist) enters the docs orders and thro a computerized infrastructure the robot reads it and goes off and gets the med and packs it.
This is marvelous, a lot less work and a lot less returned meds and mistakes. Everything is barcoded and reports of the drugs that are being used are a lot more accurate in the databases.
I have been chosen as a Champion Super User.....I have no idea what this entails as yet, except for a wee bit more job security in that I won't be replaced as easily...

Happy Gram
Posted Sep 24, 2006
Yup, he got another one.
I am so happy for him, his confidence is way up too...YAYS!!!!
I have already got his scout uniform and other bits and bobs, registration is paid for, just need to sort den dues and his first 'meet' is in October. He is really looking forward to it
Struggled to sew the badges on said uniform but will be going to get fabric glue next pay check, I sewed one badge on quite spectaculary for me, and started another but my sewing skills are a wee bit challanged and it was crooked and I had to unpick my laborous stitches and well....hence the fabric glue next shop....

For good behavoir....
Posted Sep 12, 2006
G-force is being FANTASTICALLY well behaved...he is on week 2 of being good in school He loves his new school and his class teacher is awesome, well structured and orderly in task giving and makes them earn 'chips' thro out the week with which they can 'buy' cool jobs in the classroom etc...and she is also wonderfully firm and strict - runs a tight ship, she has been working there in that school for over 35 years and takes no nonsense...
I'm so pleased that he is doing so well - and so is he, his confidence is right up.
For his good behavoir we have promised him a PSP for his first full month of being good - oh, and he has been brilliant on the bus too..! We have also stressed that altho we will get him a special treat for this month, thereafter there will treats but not as fancy, but still worth working for...
He had a great summer with a holiday at his grandparents, weeks of swimming here at home and had a super time at the tennis camp, in which he won a round of doubles with his pardner and got a certificate for best forehand *pride*
He still wants to learn ice hockey amongst other things - we saw the last half of his favourite team 'Hudson Valley Polar Bears' and was really excited when I took him skating Sunday gone, so I'm looking into basic skating lessons and he is interested in tennis too, and it just so happens there is a club up the road from here. Not to mention boy scouts - gonna have to sort this as and when finances settle down..
As for me....I start earlies tomorrow making lots of IV's for patients....there is no pharm smiley so....
