How do I stop. Can I actually stop if I want to any more?
Does it have to be like this?

take a break.
Not around much for the next two weeks as I'll be driving round the country having a break between jobs.

I'm outa here
Posted Jul 5, 2001
Well I'm now only minutes (about 30) away from finishing a job I've got very bored of over the last six months. I'm excited as well as scared because the job I'm going to will be a lot more formalised than my current place. I doubt I'll be able to get on here during the day in my new job
Between now and then I've got the meet up and then a couple of weeks off doing not a lot. I hope to be able to travel up to snowdonia to do some walking and relaxing.
Just the last few things to do, backup any of my data and then kill the machine Then it's off to drink the night away.

Getting wet
Posted Jun 16, 2001
Flaming June, what a phrase. Counjours up images of green fields and flowers on sunny days. Todays day in the park was anything but flaming. There were several very heavy showers of rain which meant that the grass was turned to mud. Still I got to see a few bands and hear some very good music.
Who did I see then? Cousteau, Afro Celt Sound System, Glenn Tilbrook, Jason Downs, Gary Moore, The Waterboys and Neil Young & Crazy Horse.
The Afro Celt Sound System had everybody dancing in front of the main stage. Glenn Tilbrook played crowd pleasing set. Jason Downs did his interesting country rock - hip hop storytelling hybrid.
Neil Young was just Neil Young. Turning songs into several minutes of jamming and distortion, giving it some full out rock action and when needing to singing songs in that distinct voice of his. There did seem only two setting on the gear, quiet (on tracks such as after the goldrush) and very loud (most things ). The finale was a frenzy of distortion and feedback, culminating with everyoine putting their instruments down and leaving the stage with the guitars still wailing.
What a day, the Fleadh 2001 in Finsbury Park, London.
